- Not What but Who: Making the Voice Within Louder Than the Noise Around
Society has us spend considerable time trying to determine ‘what’ someone will do or ‘what’ we will do but before we can do that, we need to better appreciate and understand who we are. Only by knowing who you are can you better appreciate what you can do. There are many lost individuals who are trying to figure out which path they should take.
Through the keynote, we explore a concept of building a foundation for the individual called the Five Core Elements. It is more than just explaining the concept but how to create the Five Core Elements that become one’s foundation and compass needle to help discover their journey. Whether you are a student, professional or an educator, this conversation is for you.
- Transition to Transform: Appreciating the Student’s Journey
As educators, we are called upon to empower, engage and educate our audience. How do you ignite your passion for teaching that activates the learner? It goes beyond the curriculum and sets the student up for their transition and transformation to their next chapter.
Through this keynote, we explore the differences that are present between high school and post-secondary establishments and how we can better prepare for the shift. We also consider the international student and understanding their needs and how we might support their development. Finally, we share practical tips on how to transition successfully. This talk is geared for the student, educators and even parents.
- Hear to Serve: From Compliance to Commitment in the workplace
This keynote focuses on supporting businesses and employees to better appreciate and understand each other. With senior managers retiring and millennials emerging, there are considerable misunderstandings on how we can work together.
If we better understand our employees and learn about their strengths, we have a more committed workforce that are going to be your ambassadors in and out of the office. By helping the employee appreciate who they are, they are able to make their intentions better known and can try and seek out opportunities that align with who they are.
